Susanna Sprague
Biography
Susanna Sprague is a Fulbright Schuman research grantee based in Egmont’s European Affairs department for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Her research focuses on EU policymaking for the digital age, including the opportunities and obstacles to EU regulation of established and emerging digital technologies, the negotiation of the Digital Services Act and the Digital Markets Act, and the coordination of objectives and projects outlined in the Recovery and Resilience Facility and Digital Decade program. She is also interested in the development of digitization programs for small and medium-sized enterprises and the implications of transatlantic discussions on US and EU technology policies.
Susanna holds an MA in European Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a BA from Connecticut College.
