Maria Gargano
Biography
Maria Gargano joined the Egmont Institute in June 2022 to work in the European Affairs programme as Junior Researcher. Her research interests include migration and the interlinkages between development and human mobility.
Prior to this, she was a Pan-European fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations specialising on migration and human mobility. She gained experience as a trainee in the European Commission and at Migration Policy Institute Europe.
She holds a Master of Arts from College of Europe in European Interdisciplinary studies and an LL.M in European Laws from Maastricht University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, Development and Cooperation at the University of Turin.
