Through its Focus on Hybrid, Egmont seeks to be the Centre of Excellence in Brussels in the vital domain of hybrid threats, including cyber threats, hybrid warfare, resilience, and disruptive technologies. We regularly convene experts from industry, academia, and government in a series of closed-door meetings. Our approach combines conceptual frameworks with practical case-studies, with the aim of providing operational policy recommendations for Belgium, the EU, and NATO. We cooperate closely with similar Centres of Excellence in Europe and beyond, including Japan.
