On 25 and 26 August 2026, the 100 students of the 10th cohort of ENA RDC (École Nationale d’Administration de la République Démocratique du Congo) participated in a 2-day seminar on the “Digitalisation of Public Services” in Kinshasa. The seminar enabled future senior civil servants to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with the digital transformation of the public sector and to examine how digitalisation can contribute to more efficient, accessible and citizen-oriented public services.
Delivered by Frank Leyman, Head of International Relations at the Directorate-General Simplification and Digitalisation of the Federal Public Service Policy and Support (FPS BOSA), the seminar drew on Belgian expertise and experience in administrative simplification and digital government. By exposing participants to practical approaches and lessons from the Belgian public administration, the activity contributed to strengthening their capacity to understand and support digital transformation within the Congolese public sector. The seminar was organised within the framework of the partnership between Enabel, ENA RDC and the Egmont Institute, with the support of the Embassy of Belgium in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
