22–24 Jun 2026: Launch of the Leadership d’Impact Programme to Strengthen Women’s Leadership in Guinea (Training)

From 22 to 24 June 2026, the Education & Training Programme of the Egmont Institute, in partnership with the École Nationale d’Administration (ENA) of Guinea and with the support of Enabel, officially launched the Leadership d’Impact programme in Kindia. The initiative will accompany 14 women leaders from the Kindia and Mamou regions over a ten-month period, combining training, mentoring, and personalised coaching to strengthen women’s leadership within the public administration and civil society.

The launch followed a preparatory mission conducted in Conakry and Kindia to engage key stakeholders and tailor the programme to the needs of the selected participants. As part of this initial phase, a dedicated mentoring training equipped future mentors with the knowledge and tools required to accompany participants throughout the programme. The official launch also marked the beginning of the first Life Journey workshop, enabling participants to reflect on their personal and professional trajectories, identify challenges affecting women’s leadership, and start designing change-oriented professional projects. By bringing together participants, mentors, supervisors, and institutional partners, the programme lays the foundations for a sustainable network of women leaders committed to promoting inclusive leadership and driving positive institutional change in Guinea.
