Egmont – the Royal Institute for International Relations, in cooperation with the Belgian Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs, organised a roundtable discussion on “The EU’s Reform Challenge: Exploring Opportunities and Challenges for the EU and its Enlargement Policy”. Bringing together legal and policy experts, academics, and policymakers, the event explored the challenges and opportunities of EU internal reform in the context of enlargement. Discussions focused on EU decision-making processes, institutional reforms, voting mechanisms, and the implications of future enlargement for the Union.
