The Egmont Institute is honoured to welcome as its guest speaker Mr Dimitri Lorenzani, member of the Cabinet of the Vice-President of the European Commission, Maroš Šefcovic.
Building upon the third annual strategic foresight report adopted by the European Commission at the end of June, this conversation will be an opportunity to take stock of the implementation of the initiatives announced by Vice-President Šefcovic aiming at embedding strategic foresight in EU policymaking. It will also allow participants to exchange views about existing foresight capacities in Belgium and possible ways to strengthen them in view of the 2024 presidency as well as in relation with the national security strategy.
