This in-person roundtable examined Europe’s evolving debate on China’s role in the Arctic.  The discussion brought together policymakers and experts to assess China’s growing presence in the region through its scientific, economic, and strategic activities. Participants explored prevailing narratives, distinguishing between perceived risks and actual developments, and discussed how the EU and its partners can respond to emerging geopolitical dynamics.

The session featured contributions from a range of experts.
