22–24 Apr 2026: Strengthening Training Engineering Capacities at ENA RDC

From 22 to 24 April 2026, a training session on “Training Engineering” was delivered in Kinshasa for staff members of ENA RDC (École Nationale d’Administration de la République Démocratique du Congo). Organised by the Education & Training Programme of the Egmont Institute, in partnership with Enabel and ENA RDC, and with the support of the Embassy of Belgium, the activity aimed to further strengthen institutional capacities in the design and delivery of training programmes.

Over the course of 3 days, participants enhanced their competencies in pedagogical design and in structuring training programmes, through a methodology combining conceptual frameworks with practical application. Facilitated by Sébastien Hill-Derive, the training placed particular emphasis on equipping participants with concrete tools to support trainers in the preparation, organisation, and evaluation of learning activities.

By reinforcing the technical and methodological capacities of ENA RDC staff, this initiative contributes to consolidating the quality and coherence of training delivery within the institution. It also supports the broader objective of strengthening the effectiveness and professionalism of the Congolese senior civil service through improved training systems.
