The first training session of the Wanawake Viongozi – Professional Growth and Support Programme for Women Leaders in Kigoma has successfully come to an end. Over four days, 20 women from working in the administration of the Kigoma region came together to strengthen their skills in Mentorship, while also building trust, solidarity, and a shared vision for the future of women’s leadership in the region.
Beyond the technical learning, what stood out most was the energy, openness, and determination of the participants. Through powerful exchanges and personal reflections, the group has already begun to grow into a supportive network of women leaders committed to driving positive change in their institutions and communities.
