As Europe faces economic pressures and shifting energy demands, the upcoming Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU is set to play a pivotal role in advancing the European Green Deal and the EU Industrial Strategy. This dinner debate, co-organized with Fourtold on October 17th, features Krzysztof Bolesta, Secretary of State and Deputy Minister of Climate and Environment in the Polish Government. He will discuss how the Polish Presidency aims to drive initiatives such as the “Clean Industrial Deal” and the “Industrial Decarbonisation Accelerator Act,” which focus on accelerating industrial decarbonization and enhancing EU competitiveness.

With COP 29 on the horizon, this event offers a unique opportunity for participants to engage in a forward-looking dialogue about navigating the intersections of competitiveness, energy security, and the green transition.
