American restraint, European responsibility?

Conference with Prof. Barry Posen (MIT). As the focus of American strategy is pivoting from Europa to Asia, the question is what the implications are for the European security architecture. A great many, according to Barry Posen, who advocates that the US force Europe to take care of its own security by showing radical restraint in its overseas deployments. At the invitation of Egmont and the RHID, Prof. Posen will discuss his ideas with a select panel of Brussels experts.
