African Futures – Horizon 2025
The African Futures project, coordinated by the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS), aims to explore major trends that are likely to affect the broader security environment in Africa in the 10 year outlook. The Egmont-Royal Institute for International Relations is a partner in the project, alongside the Istituto Affari Internazionali (Italy), the OCP Policy Centre (Morocco), the Open Society European Policy Institute, and the Institute for Security Studies (South Africa). A number of dedicated workshops will be convened in Brussels, Paris and Africa and a publication presenting the final results will be published in the autumn of 2017. This one-year project will run from November 2016 to September 2017.
